Memoirs of a Storyteller

"I must create a system or be enslaved by another man's." - William Blake

Name:
Alamaris
Schools:
[Username previously endlessland: I changed it in an effort to make my internet presence known by the same name all over the board. Since most of them were already under Alamaris, I figured it was appropriate. Sorry for any confusion!]

You've stumbled into Alamaris. You are on a flat plain of hills, all alike.

: go north

Wait, wrong universe.

Alamaris is a student, a writer, an artist, a mad poet, and a queer. She's obsessed with skulls, pin-up girls, peacocks, H.P. Lovecraft, old books, foo-dogs, tattoos, corsets, linguistics, science fiction, Shakespeare, chow mein, and lists. After leaving high school for two years due to medical issues, she is now completing her last year of the same through a self-directed homeschooling program.

When she's not writing essays or working at an antique store, she writes SF/F novels and paints professionally. Post-graduation, she plans to specialize in a field relating to Old English literature or linguistics.

In her copious spare time, she watches romhack videos, gets tattooed, debates conspiracy theories and philosophical dead-ends, and reads Chaucer aloud in the original for fun. She is a (very) liberal Catholic.

Being queer, an author, and a mental institution survivor, her posts often lean against these lines. Otherwise, expect to see discussions of whacky hijinks at the antique store, reviews of books, discussions about religion, and complaints about life and schoolwork.

Blog contains mild-to-moderate cursing in some posts. Blogger is also known to be very strongly opinionated. Ye be warned!
